Natalie lives on the ancestral grounds of her Scottish forebears, who helped settle much of Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom 200 years ago.
Natalie, her 3 brothers and sister grew up on a Vermont dairy farm and she currently lives in the Northeast Kingdom with her husband Tom in a timber frame house they built themselves. They make syrup from their maple trees each spring and have an orchard of old apple varieties.
Natalie is an athlete, outdoorswoman, naturalist, artist and writer. She runs 5 to 10 miles each morning and enjoys all manner of outdoor activity. She has rescued most of her pets (11 cats, 9 dogs and 2 horses) and is learning to play the bagpipes and the fiddle.
